The Advisory Board of Advances in Nursing Science is a group of professional nurses and other health care professionals who are committed to the development of nursing as a discipline. Membership on the Advisory Board affords the individual the opportunity to participate in the evolution of ANS as a vital literature source for professional nurses and others in the health care professions.  Advisory Board members serve for a minimum of two years. 

All Advisory Board members also serve on the Review Panel.  In addition, Advisory Board members:

bullet Contribute to the development of the journal by offering constructive suggestions and criticisms directed to the Editor and the Editorial staff.
bulletAssist in encouraging prospective authors who might contribute to forthcoming issues of the journal.
bullet Participate in the development and periodic review of all policies and procedures of the journal.
bullet Participate in periodic evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of the journal.
bullet Forward to the Editor the names of individuals who are qualified and recommended to serve on the Board of Review.
